About Us

Hi! My name is Igal Shif (Gosha). I'm a professional New York
based photographer and designer. I learned craft from college,
from books about prominent photographers and years of long
and dedicated work.Before moving to NYC lived in Israel for 10
years, worked as a photographer for the Russian language
newspapers . During those years many of my works were
featured on several international shows. Since I moved and
established myself in NYC in 2001, I had 2 personal shows. I
taught photography in Jewish Center in Bensonhurst in
Brooklyn from 2002 to 2003. Worked as a still photographer on
several films shot at Brooklyn College in 2003-2004. And Film by
Zhenya Kiperman " I will Avenge You, Iago !" Currently I'm
working as a photojournalist in one of the biggest Russian
language newspapers in NYC Russian Bazaar and magazine
MetroAlso, I am a founder of Gosha Art Co., a graphic
design/advertising company.
